    handgun vtac 9hole sight alignment/picture

Do you modify your sight alignment or sight picture when you are in the different positions on the vtac barricade (prone, kneeling, squatting, or weapon canted left/right 90 degrees) when using a handgun? For example, do you use a 6 oclock hold in certain positions instead of a center of mass hold? I am trying to get center of mass hits with a glock on a 10" circle at 25yards.

I don't - there is not sufficient distance between the tip of the front sight and the center of the bore for me to really see the utility.

Theoretically, absent any shooter induced input, you could rotate the weapon 360 degrees using the front sight as a pivot point and cut a circle the diameter of the front sight to bottom of the bore distance, about 1.5 to 2 inches I'd guess on a Glock.

When shooting in alternative or reactionary positions I tend to align the weapon with my body axis, not rotating the arms to get the weapon upright.

With a RDS or scope the offset becomes a concern.
