    Vicker's Universal sling loop?

I have a stock LMT patrol and was looking for some way to get a side sling mount. The girl at Vickers said to use the UWL-6.25 universal wire loop in the front. Anyone know how this thing works? Thanks.

The shorter variant slips over stock M4 handguards and locks up tightly. Its all a matter of what you are looking to do. The Blue Force Gear piece works well in its designed role. I carry a few of them with me when I teach classes so I can rig up shooters with quality 2 point slings when needed.

What do you do to get that attached stick, pop the handguards off, slid the thing on, then reinsert the handguards underneath?

    Rob,

Nope, it went over the FSB with the handguards attached. Its a tight fit, but not a big deal. I didn't even need to break out the harsh language.

You can always use a M4 front side sling swivel. It would coust you around $25.00.

Is Rock River Arms the only one that makes a "side" sling loop that
attaches to the barrel? I've looked and that's all I've found.
