Vicker's Universal sling loop?

I ended up with a side sling swivel front, Daniel Defense rear QD swivel attachment and Vickers padded sling. G&R even installed it while I waited. Now I just need to save for an Aimpoint T1 or H1. Those trips to G&R tactical are sure getting more expensive.

There are very few places that are going to be as well stocked or as knowledgeable. Its got to be nice to have a resource that close by.

While I like the look of the shorter version, I'd like to know if anyone has used the longer version run through the FSB and how it worked for you. Thanks.
