Hey M4C, heading to my class 3 dealer tomorrow to purchase my first suppressor. I think I have my mind made up on a SF Socom 556. I've been researching suppressors and whether to get 30cal or dedicated 5.56 can for a long time. In my mind I've convinced myself that a dedicated 5.56 can is all I need as I don't shoot bolt guns, I don't hunt (except coyote occasionally when it's opportunistic), I'm not a fan of 300blk, and I load all of my own 5.56/.223.

I have 2 ARs, one a Noveske irons-only 14.5" and the other is a scoped Noveske 16" with SS Recon barrel. This suppressor will see use on both rifles.

Is there something I haven't thought of? Am I making the right choice?

I feel like there's something I'm missing in this process, though I always feel like this when I make a big purchase.
