    AAC Ranger 3 is dropped

If you are waiting for a Ranger 3, start exploring new options. The project is being scrapped.

Well at least the dumb decision tradition is still alive at AAC.

Yeah, FreedomGroup seems to be really impressive at finding new ways to alienate customers, produce garbage new products, and just generally suck. Unless they're scrapping it for a low cost Ti model, this is the epitome of dumb.

I know where my Ranger 3 money is going.
This might actually be the reason they don't want to play in this market segment - within $200 of final cost there are tons of options which are much better, and they may have just concluded that using any money to spinoff developments into a Ranger3 can wasn't worth it... but that's assuming they're actually spending R&D money on things that are useful.

If there was no stamp tax and waiting period, i think i'd constantly be buying Ranger 3s at shops on a whim. Every single 5.56 rifle I have would have one, and I'd have backups for when the baffles erode on my SBR and pistols.

In the current environment, a smaller amount of QD suppressors work better for me.

Griffin Armament spartan 3 @ 12.5oz and $ 515.00 at SS it is.

That is twice now that I have had money down with AAC products and had to go some where else. My SR7 turned into a SOCOM 762rc and now Ranger 3 will become a Spartan 3.
