    Nope. Uses Colt style mags. Their mags (which are similiar to Colt's) work well and are much cheaper.

    Is it lighter than the 5.56mm version? I always found that to be quite...stout.

    I have not weighed them, but it does feel lighter. Will try and weigh it today.

    Will you be able to change it out with a 5.56 kit? Did you end up weighing it?

    You probably could, but they don't make a 5.56 kit. So you are a better off buying the 556 Tavor and then adding the 9mm kit.
