    m&p10 prs question...

I have a m&p10 that is the hunting version with a fixed moe a2 type camo stock. I have read numerous posts about adapters and spacers but they all seem to be the carbine version. Should I be able to put the prs on my current rifle length tube and run it as is?

Will a normal ar15 prs work? What's the difference between the ar15 and ar10 prs stock?

An AR10 PRS should work fine. All you'll need to do is get rid of the 5/8" spacer that makes an A1 buffer tube A2-compatible.

The AR10 PRS has a truncated cheekpiece (compared to an AR15 PRS) to allow the longer AR10-style charging handle to extend fully. An AR15 PRS would block an AR10 charging handle from going all the way back.

Either PRS will work if you don't ever intend to raise the cheekpiece.
