Colt Sporting Rifle CSR-1518

I bought a Colt 1516. I got it for under $700. The trigger is basically a mil spec with some fancy coating. It is by no means a competition trigger. Some of theses rifles have Geissele triggers, but mine does not. Mine also has carbine gas (bleh), no port door and no forward assist. Barrel is nice, but is not chrome lined. I bought it to use as a dedicated platform for a SWFA 6X scope and AAC can when shooting paper out to 500yds. For my uses it is perfect. For a "combat/battle rifle" these do not fit the bill.

It’s not like the Colt Defense rifles, rather made by a third party and licensed by Colt.

It’s not my cup of tea but a gamer gun. I think there are better deals out there for a defensive carbine.

It’s not my cup of tea but a gamer gun. I think there are better deals out there for a defensive carbine.

I’d look for a deal on a 6920 or a Trooper. OEMs aren’t much more, and the BCM version is right there.
