What rifle case do you have?

I'm looking for a rifle case to use for range days and general storage. There are so many options and I'm curious as to what you picked and why? Not looking to spend more than $60 so items by Larue and 5.11 or not an option.

I have a Maxpedition that holds 2 rifles. I love it! I've use their stuff for several years now and its superb quality. I did buy this during a 35% off sale which made it hurt my wallet a little less.

I know you set $50 as a limit but I'd recommend saving up for something nicer. Not only will It last longer, it will better protect your rifles and optics.

Before you suggest that licensing, background checks, or other restrictions for the 2nd Amendment are reasonable... Apply those same ideas to the 1st and 4th Amendments. Then tell me how reasonable they are.

Just buy a guitar or bass (dependent on OAL) gig bag.

Or throw it in the trunk, which is what I do.

I don't use a case. I use the sling to carry, then simply put the rifle in the trunk/passenger side floorboard, etc.

I have a few soft cases I got from the gun show for $50-60 0 a piece. One is a Drago single rifle and the other is a Voodoo dual rifle. The Drago is much better built, but an 18" barely fits with a fully collapsed SOPMOD stock. A 20" will not fit. The dual rifle case is HEAVY when it actually has 2 rifles in it.

It's just a case.. I see no reason in paying 3x the price unless you are commonly in adverse conditions. I have been wanting a Larue Covert MKII though...

If you want something to actually protect the gun, this is excellent quality:

I really like the Drago cases. I have two of the double cases, 36" and a 42". I paid $60 and $70

Well outside your limit but I have a SERT TCC coming Tuesday. I don't recall having a better experience dealing with a company. I spoke to Helm personally on several occasions. I can't wait to get my hands on the case. I do, however, fall into the commonly in adverse conditions category. That's why I chose SERT.

Did you even read his post? He listed a budget.

OP - for an inexpensive but still decent case I've bought a couple of the Blackhawk ones on Amazon. Nothing fancy, but they are padded, have pouches for 5 magazines, and then a larger GP pouch. For about $30, they're hard to beat.

Check these out: http://patriotcases.net/product/ar-case/ They are a great value, especially with the pre-cut foam insert. Rainer Arms has them as well for $60 on their site.
