Will this body be able to also accept a 18650 battery?

If a stock m600 body can, then yes.

MM was nice enough to do a write-up and post a bunch of pictures of the ring light mount and inline scout mount on his various setups: http://www.militarymorons.com/weapon...4.html#arisaka

Just a little update. Mini scout bodies are scheduled to be back from ano on Monday, and will probably be available the following week after I return from Christmas.

Today I received a 3d printed prototype of the upcoming 45 degree scout mount. The KeyMod version will use BCM's proprietary reverse threaded torx screws, which allows us to make the mount about 4mm thick. The prototype shown below is very simplified without the usual styling of our products, since trying to 3d print too much detail looks like crap. Otherwise it's completely functional. There are 4 lateral positions for mounting the light, and it fits very snug on the Noveske NSR.

In the pictures the light is positioned in the 2nd location on the mount closest to the top Picatinny rail.

Wow. That's cool too. These Scout Bodies are going to prove to be a really versatile option.

Very nice! That actually looks like an improvement on the KAC mount. This may be a dumb question, but will that mount work with a standard Scout body also?

Perfectly valid question. Yes, works with any m300 or m600 body.
