Thanks, 'Gunz--if it takes the heavy artillery of lasers like that, my puny little midget unit I'm looking at should be a cakewalk.

Anyone know if a Scout on the Arisaka offset M-LOK mount will clear the illuminator of an ATPIAL-C with the light positioned around 1030 or so for push button activation on a Geissele MK8? The light would be out front by the front sight and the laser mounted towards the rear of the top rail so it wouldn't have to clear the body of the ATPIAL, just the beam.
Found a picture of the setup I'm looking for, but the owner never used it in this configuration and can't 100% confirm it would clear the beam. I'm wanting to do the same but on a 13 inch MK8 rail. Anyone using an Arisaka mount in this configuration with an ATPIAL?

I have an ATPIAL-C with an M600V in a Unity Tactical Fusion Hub 2.0 that clears both the laser and light right next to each other, allowing both to be mounted forward on the rail together. I would think with the setup you are taking about, the illuminator lens would technically clear the light body itself, but due to the fixed illuminator on the ATPIAL-C I think you'd have quite a bit of shadow with it mounted so far back on the rail.
I'm assuming that mount doesn't allow side by side mounting beween the ATPIAL and M600?

That's what I'm trying to find out. I'm going to use an M300 so it won't stick out as far as the M600. The amount of shadow will just depend on how wide the fixed illumination "cone" is at that close of a distance. Just trying to find someone that has used that setup and could advise if the illuminator clears or hits the light causing a shadow.
I don't believe the mount allows the light and laser to sit side by side but could be wrong.
Spoke with Will about how the M300/offset mount and ATPIAL-C would play together on a Geissele rail. He rigged one up and tested it while we were on the phone, very cool!
Setup as pictured, he said the illuminator barely clipped the front bezel of the light. There is a slight "shadow" from it, but not much of one.
It appears the offset mount should work for my application. My light will be a little more forward since its going on a MK8, but the laser will also be a bit more forward on the rail. Should be just about the same distance apart. I went ahead and ordered, but it will be awhile until I have everything together to test it on my end.
Just passing the info along if anyone else is interested. It was good talking to Will and cool of him to test it out for me! Made me glad I chose to do business with Arisaka.

Installed the Scout and offset mount today. Easy install and feels super solid. Put the light right where I needed for thumb activation. Looks great in FDE too!
