Perfect 300BLK Build

I've debated for a long time to get this caliber. I actually bought the 762SD in June 2011 knowing I would eventually get a 300BLK, but I never got around to it. Ammo was too hard to find and it was too "niche" for my liking.

On Black Friday, AAC had a 20% off upper sale. I couldn't resist, as I had a spare lower sitting in the safe.

I don't really hunt and it's illegal to use suppressors in my state, so I'm not sure what in the world I'm going to use this rifle for. I've already shot it quite a bit and it's extremely smooth and reliable..and quiet. It will only be shot subsonic and suppressed. I consider having the ability to cycle subsonics the most valuable perk of the entire cartridge, but I know others like it for its muzzle energy supersonic. The 300BLK has really grown on me in the past 6 months and its ability to launch 220gr subsonic rounds accurately at 100 yards to hunting and defeating barriers with supersonic ammo simply by changing magazines is really astonishing.

Surefire M300
LMT Lower Receiver / VLTOR A5

...and 2,000 rounds of GEMTECH 187gr Subsonic to use with it.

Length compared to a BCM 11.5" w/ AAC M4-2000.

Eotech 512 - Would prefer an EXP, but for now.......

Today, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission voted unanimously to repeal the 57 year old prohibition on the use of firearm suppressors for taking deer, gray squirrels, rabbits, wild turkeys, quail, and crows. Following the passage of the new regulation, the Commission then voted unanimously to authorize an Executive Order to allow the measure to take effect immediately. Minutes later, Executive Order # EO 14-32 was signed, making hunting with suppressors for all animals in the state legal, effective immediately.

Bestist barrier blind terminal performance with the Barnes 110gr black tip inside of 200 yards, even with very SBR.

Congrats I have a 12.5" AAC 300blk upper en route. I didn't see the Black Friday deal from AAC, I had bought a DSG upper though and sold it for what it cost me after stumbling upon a deal on a nib 12.5". I REALLY wanted the 9" upper but the price on the 12.5 was too good to pass up. Need a 30 cal can now.....

What optic are you getting? I have an incoming Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24, just need a mount for it. I have some of that gem tech ammo incoming as well.

I'm running the PST 1-4 on my 9" MPW and it works great. I run the PST during hunting season and then swap to a T1 in the spring. I run ADM QD mounts on both of them so the swap is painless. PS Primary Arms is running 20% off all ADM mounts right now.
