I have a Noveske SS barrel that I can not get the Vortex off of.
Heat? Kroil oil?
Confirm please - left is loose - correct - turn the wrench to the left to remove this?
What a freekin pain in azz......
TIA

Just curious... If the vortex was removed, how long would the barrel be???

However, if it us pinned in due to barrel length (bellow 16 inches) you need more than a wrench.
Kroil will penetrate the threads and lube them up. Heat will break down Locktite, but neither will work on a pinned and silver soldered flash suppressor.
Maybe gunsmith time to not ruin a barrel due to unknown problem....
Heat was the answer.
Good to know, thanks sir.
