    Why the standard pressure Gold Dots and not the +p?

    Probably for the same reason I use the Federal 9BP rather than the 9BPLE. Faster, more accurate follow up shots = greater chance of staying alive.

    ETA: although I did recently buy several boxes of LE to try out. If they don't have a much greater recoil I may go with them.

    Interesting points. I've always thought with 9mm you are going for velocity because the bullet is light. How effective do you feel the standard pressure is compared to the +p regarding two legged threats?
