Yeah I first bought the PSA with an ALG QMS trigger, didn't like it, and replaced it with the Colt kit. The ALG trigger was fine though. If this were still the horror days of the great panic the PSA kit would have been serviceable, but the take down pins were rough, the safety was gritty and sloppy, and the roll pins were a nightmare to install. I've installed two of the PSA kits, one of mine and one for my brother, and both were the same way. After installing the Colt kits, its an easy decision for me. The Colt all the way. The Daniel Defense kit was also nice, but with Colt kits available, I'd go there first.

The colt kit with ALG QMS trigger. How many rounds have you fired to date?

I have fired exactly 745 rounds through the lower with the Colt kit in it with the QMS trigger. Built in August I believe. Runs great. Have a factory Colt 6920 with 1,100 rounds through it. All have functioned perfectly. Yes I keep detailed records on round counts.

C4 speaks the solid truth. I did the Colt LPK and ALG ACT trigger, it is a fantastic value and is very high quality. I'll have zero issues using this combination in my rifles from this point forward.

For budget, ACT. No budget, I like the SD-C a lot.

For pistol build Grant's deal (w/QMS) is hard to pass up and can't be beat. For my SBRs I use BAD safety/EPS (they come with needed springs & detents), QMS, large paddle bolt catch, Magpul grip; and source rest of small parts from reputable manf/source (not PSA). No point in buying kit if I'm not going to use most of what's in it.

Isn't bad suppose to be releasing their own LPKs at some point?

Agreed. The only thing in the PSA lower parts kit worth a **** is the hammer.

I've installed two PSA LPKs for some folks, and had the opportunity to side by side them to DD LPKs.

    No comparison whatsoever.
