1911 US ARMY Mix-Master Info
I have some info from other forums but would like to see what people here have to say about this.
I was told it was a 1914 Springfield with 1917 Colt slide on to that was rebuilt at A.A. (Augusta Armory) *Parkerized*, my step-fathers service issue pistol during WWII. The serial numbers are in the 117,1XX and it even has the original mag with rounds but to bad it got "mixed up" I wonder how much these are worth, someone offered me a modern version I could "shoot" as a trade which sounds good to but I have yet to let this one go.
Please feel free to tell me more!
