If you have arthritis in your hands, the smooth-face trigger seems to help a bit after a long day at the range.
Or it does for me, anyway. My hands appreciate whatever help they can get. I don't shoot much .45 anymore, and the days of shooting a .357 all day are gone forever.
It's a small thing, but noticeable to me for some reason. Maybe it's how the finger slides under recoil, I dunno.
I wouldn't be suprised if the smooth 42 trigger fit the 43.
I have two G43s on order through Glock. Now for the nice 120 day wait. Expect a range report soon after ("eventually").

They are essentially made to order when ordered directly through Glock (as Glock isn't allowed to keep a stock of them on hand per the rep I spoke with) and they always quote direct orders at 120 days. It may take less, or may take the full 120. The man I spoke with estimates it'll take the full 120 based on how many they'll be making and how popular they expect the G43 to be.
