No, it'll be this weekend. However, if I had a verbal description of where it should sit it'd be better. Your pic was not clear enough for my going-to-hell eyes, and my cell phone pic will be even worse!. If I can tell my buddy where it should sit that would be more helpful. Where should the front of the connector sit, the rear, etc.?

I think mayonnaise took a good crack at it.

The front "arm" of the cruciform sits in the pocket made by the trigger spring arm.

It will be easy to understand/see once you pop the slide off.

Killing some time on YouTube and found out something interesting from hickok45. They were able to use a 43 mag in a 26. not advised of course. https://youtu.be/nomwVPMBqUM

Yes, that pic is very helpful! I can read all 5 numbers printed on mine; it looks like the front number on your pic is tucked underneath the thingy attached to the spring.

I also notice there's a little drag taking the slide off. Maybe that will be corrected by fixing this and will erase the feed issues? We'll see......

    Yep, that is your problem.

Your friend installed it incorrectly. Get it tucked in that pocket and your issues should disappear.

Got it fixed today! It was a bitch to do it without removing the trigger pin but my buddy managed to fernagle it. Will do my wife's tomorrow but probably won't shoot 'til next weekend.

Thanks for the advice and pics guys!
