Attachment 31403 How to destroy good night sights on a perfectly good gun.
This reminds me of a Range Officer who worked for the local county Sheriff's Department years ago. Night sights were a relatively new thing and he was installing them on service pistols. He could not figure out why a tritium sight with a life expectancy of 10 years would fail in less than 6 months. He told me he was working with the sight company on getting replacements for over 20 service pistols.
I told him I had sights on my 4516-1 that were installed more than 2 years earlier, they were still working and he could not believe it. I asked how he was installing the sights and he told me with a brass punch and hammer. I cringed when I heard this. From that point forward, when someone asks to borrow my sight tool in his presence I hand them a hatchet.

Train 2 Win
They even screwed up the safety I suspect from clamping it in a vice, or just beating the hell out of the whole gun, now it sticks and doesn't operate smooth like it did before.
No it's my cousin's, they owe him some money IMO.
