I remember when that ad first hit gunbroker, it was billed as a real "Operators's" gun because real operators don't need trigger guards and run with super light triggers or some such shit. Don't recall it word for word, but it was a total bullshit write up to make the gun sound like it belonged to some high speed Delta 6 Recon SEAL or some such. Also the safety on the trigger, and I think the firingpin safety were also removed, but again has been quite some time since it originally was posted. I saved the pic just as a reminder of what not to do to a glock. Personally I would hope the owner got over confident with a dremel tool and then after ****ing the pooch he posted it on gun broker while the pooch was in the bathroom with some soothing cream hoping he could sell it to some moron and buy himself something not ****ed up. Sadly, I honestly think the gun owner did the mods to it because he thought it was making it more tactical.

So, the question I've been wondering about is how do you react when your friend/neighbor/relative proudly shows their new gun to you and it looks like one of these on this forum? It's just like when you see someone's new baby and its one of the ugliest babies you've ever seen. That happened to us once. The kid was absolutely hideous looking. I said something like "Oh, look at him. He has your eyes". Fortunately the kid grew up normal looking, but unfortunately guns don't grow up. Just wondering...

Unless the work is unsafe or illegal, go shoot the gun. That's the only way to see if a modification is going to work or not. Much of the hideous work shown in this thread is cosmetic and no worse than a bad paint job that's not worth commenting on. But if the work is flawed, it will be revealed in the harsh light of shooting
