Permatex 77134 Nickel Anti-Seize - http://amzn.to/2etHoWJ
Any nickel or copper based anti seize will do. Just make sure it is rated to 1800 degrees or higher.
I use a motorcraft nickel based anti seize that is rated to 2400 degrees F.
As others have stated, be stingy because a little goes a long way.

Not to add anything that hasn't already been mentioned in this thread over the years, but I finally was able to pick up my Omega after a little under a year and had the chance to shoot 400rounds through it on my also new Sionics reduced gas port 11.5 barrel and this thing ran like a champ. No issues what so ever, carbine buffer, played with H, H2, and H3 weights, all ran fine. Ended up leaving the H3 in it because it was slightly smoother, though it was easily usable with the regular H. I didn't notice any extra gas in the face compared to no can, probably due entirely to the barrel. No issues with the can coming loose as long you make sure to fully lock the lock ring. No issues with seizing as long as an anti seize was used on the threads. Very happy with my purchase.
Has anyone used this on a 300 WM? I use it on my 308 bolt gun for hunting and it is nice and quiet and I was considering getting a 300 WM but I wasn’t sure how loud it would be with this can. On my 5.56 AR’s I definitely still need hearing protection, is that the case with a 300 WM bolt gun?
I use mine on a 300 Weatherby. I’m sure it’s not hearing safe, but the report is noticeably less with the can.
