    Harris bipod question

I looked and couldn't find this info specifically, so bear with me please. Do the models with notched legs allow lock up on each individual notch for height adjustment? I've shot off a friend's smooth leg and the 6" was a little too low, and the 9" was just a little too high. Trying to find the porridge that's just right . Thanks.

Notched legs do allow individual height adjustment of each leg and can be adjusted to fit ground characteristics or a specific height.

Thank you. Just to be sure, they probably don't snap back closed like the smooth legs do?

The notched leg Harris units snap out when the side button is punched.
