Review: MVB ARC Stock (AR15 PDW)

Well....I must say I was skeptical when I got this in. I am truly and completely shocked how well this stock works across all platforms. IFAIK it's the only PDW stock that works with YOUR BCG and not a proprietary one. I tested it for a couple months and it ran 100% on my 10.5" Noveske (DI), 7.5" Adams Arms (piston) and DDLES (blowback).

You can tell the guys at MVB put real thought into all aspects. From the QD mount, the ingenious buffer retention button to the slick cam like action of the locking bar. If you're like me and get a kick out of firearm mechanics (how everything works together to achieve seamless operation) then you'll simply like opening and closing this stock.

Well enough talking, without further ado here is the video.

Very cool. I really think one might end up on a 300blk build down the road. Nice review, thanks for taking the time to do a good one.

How many rounds and what type of training/range work have you done with the pdw stock?

A buddy of mine who has one of these just said they may not be available anymore beyond the first batch due to a patent issue. I'm guessing its a patent issue conflicting with one of the other stocks that are similar to this one. I dont know any details, its just what he posted.

Anyone know who is selling them?
In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.

This is interesting. The fact that buffer weights can be swapped with additional tungsten weights is a sign of good design.
