I am a long time x200a/b/x300/u user and I never liked the push in activation on a Glock, it throws off my grip and is hard to hold on for extended time. I have happily used a DG switch for years. The push down XC1 activation is well thought out and works great on my Glock, allowing for a more natural grip while activating.
That said, I can see how it would be harder to use when mounted on a rifle rail, especially at 6:00. I have several x300u at 12:00 on AR's and the push in/forward activation works well.

i like the push-down momentary on the XC1 when used on a short. no problem at all. easier for me than push-forward models.
when used at 12 o'clock on a rail (requiring push-up) its not easy, but in turn it also keeps it from a ALD (accidental light discharge), or from knocking it on unintentionally when cased for storage.
Am I crazy to think that an XC2 with an incorporated laser might be next?! Sure hope so...
Would be nice for sure, but can't see where in it they'd find room. And if they added an additional hump for it, then it wouldn't have it amazingly small size.
I suspect the XC2 will be the upgraded LED
I'm thinking it could easily be done...being similar in design to tlr6
Mine should be here in a couple days, and I will try it on my 45C and every other pistol I have.

XC1 on the HK45C is a no go.
