From a lot of reading here, a few years back, I saved up for a year and bought a Noveske N4 NSR pinned 14.5" (before I knew about NFA). To say it's a piece of art is short changing it for sure. Smooth shooting and will out shoot me forever. My first NFA build was a 10.5 SS Noveske Barrel w NSR on a matched Noveske receiver with a KX5. It too is simply amazing to shoot, although I bought the BCM BCG, using the head spaced bolt from Noveske. My second build a 16" Noveske SS on a spikes matched receiver using the BCM KMR 13" rail, BCM BCG, using headspaced bolt from Noveske. The BCM KMR rail is another piece of art, just as impressive as my original Noveske rifle was back when I'd only experienced lesser brand rifles.

In conclusion, from what i've read and experienced on this site and in person, both BCM and Noveske are top notch brands with some prices to match on their tippy top items. NSR and KMR rail priced pretty close. Noveske Barrels and BCM close again when including all parts (Gasblock & Gastube). Quality and accuracy are expected of both brands and IMHO they deliver in spades.

I own a BCM and several Colts and have shot quite a few
    others of those brands .
I've shot a few Noveske ARs and had a few chances
at some direct comparisons at the range .

IMHO-there was a slight accuracy advantage in the Noveskes ,BUT
the advantage was SO miniscule that I decided they were a boutique item .

We're talking fractions of an inch and only with the higher grain 5.56 .
With the smaller 55 grain they did not seem any more accurate then the BCMs .

Some of the BCMs used had a pretty high round count and seemed
just as accurate with M193 and within 1/4 inch with MK262 .
    I shoot WAY more M193 myself .

I'd like to see similar tests done with Noveske's barrels that have had
    20K + rounds threw them .

The Noveske's sure had a pretty finish .
Most of the BCMs were rattle canned .

Someone would have to REALLY convince me that the cost
of a Noveske is worth it cause I'm just not seeing it .

Fractions of an inch in regards to MOA and accuracy are huge...I agree in regards to your talking points. Noveske has taken the basic AR platform and not only made it better, but look better as well. BCM has basically just made it better, no boutique frills needed.

Agreed within a limited usage .
If you competing on paper out to 600 + yards it definitely is .

The max range currently available to me goes to 600 yards , but 300
yards is the limit on my usual range .

IMHO usage is a big factor in weather or not a Noveske is worth it's price tag .

I'm ringing steel at ranges I consider practical for ME at ranges I consider
the 5.56 capable enough for my uses .
Within that usage I see the BCM as ideal and the Noveske as a waste
    of resources .
I think the vast majority of end users are in the same boat weather they
want to face it or not .
( Not saying you or anyone specific , just the vast majority )
