Had just the opposite effect for me, makes the muzzke brakes a way to go considering this would dampen the blast for those shooting next to me when shooting unsuppressed. I'm looking forward to seeing more info on these.

I hope people who use MB's would jump on this, because I effing HATE shooting next to people using comps.

Sadly, I bet it's expensive but I'm hoping these catch on, especially indoors.

If it's below 250 msrp I plan on purchasing one for classes where brakes are not allowed and not everyone on the line has a suppressor.

Any more then that and I would rather just buy a mini can.

Excited to see, I've been bugging other brake shield companies to make a Surefire version.

It is precisely for this reason that I would get one for my AR, I realize how annoying it is when I'm firing unsuppressed with my SF muzzle brake for those next to me.
This would be a great way to mitigate the blast out to the sides.

LAV visited Surefire, around 4 minutes in the blast shield is being discussed, not a ton of new info. I wish the Surefire rep would have gotten into a bit more detail about the blast shield and SOCOM 2s, but I realize they had time constraints.

Well if I understood Jamie correctly he made it sound like it's available right now, in the video he stated that the following were available now and only one item was slated for a later release.
So I guess it's time to go hunting for this item before I spend all my income tax money on wine, women and songs.

Garin posted on TOS street price is expected to be $150-175, better price than I thought it would be.
