I Thought You Might Find This Interesting

I was browsing on the web today and ran across this list of 10 weapons legal to own in the US and thought that you might find it interesting:

    "Number 4 - crossbow."

The guy that wrote that list is a wuss. I actually made a crossbow in 7th grade junior high wood shop class. As an authorized project, no less. We even entered it in an industrial arts competition. I think I won 2nd place. It was beautiful - the thing was made out of a single piece of burled black walnut.

I could not determine where the article was originally published. His apparent shock that such things are available was the only real surprise.

    nunchucks.... REALLY?

    Crossbow?

    Spear gun?

This guy has no idea that people actually hunt, and fish with these things? I made nunchucks when I was 10 with stuff found in dads garage.

Who is this guy, Diane Fiestien?

The fact that half these things are legal shocks this guy is very disturbing. The flamethrower, grenade launcher, and minigun/machine gun were expected. I'm surprised RPGs didn't make it.

reminds me of this thread I ran across recently on another message board, Spear gun and pole spear as a self defense weapon?. I couldn't get more than a page in before I gave up.

The site is hosted out of West Chester, PA but it seems to have quite a bit of Indian and Pakistani content. Also, if you read through some of the articles, you can tell that the author's first language is not English as there are quite a few simple gramatical mistakes.

He's also an idiot and doesn't realize that a grenade launcher without actual grenades is just a club. A 200.00 per round tax will stifle any thoughts of going on a mass grenading spree.

If that's the case, >50% of the people on this board can't list English as their first language.

(Not sure who "he author's" refers to?)

Fixed. Sometimes the "t" on my iPad doesn't work.
