My first full build, Mega Arms Billet MKM.!

This is my first build, I already have a S&W MP15 Sport that is super reliable and fun. Instead of modding the sport, it made more sense to build a new rifle from the ground up.

    Upper:
Mega Arms Billet MKM Extended Rifle Length
    Lantac Dragon Muzzle Brake
Daniel Defense 16" Mid-Length LW Barrel
    Troy Low-Profile .750 gas block
    WMD Nib-X M16 BCG
    Mega Arms Charging Handle
    Magpul AFG2

    Lower:
    Mega Arms Billet Ambi
    CMMG Lower Receiver Parts Kit
    Carbine Buffer
    Timney 3lb trigger
    Magpul MOE+ Pistol Grip
    Magpul Fixed Carbine Stock

    Optics:
    EOtech EXPS2-2
    G33 3x Magnifier
    still need back up sights

Nice set up. I like the MOE fixed stock. I have one on my truck gun.

How do you like the Mega upper with the rail?
In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.

Its a nice, simple design. Less parts means less things to come loose and still pretty light. Of course a forged upper would probably weigh less I love the sharp edges on the mega.

Everything other then the stripped lower was $1411.45 shipped.

The lower was $224.95 shipped plus $40 for the FFL transfer and $15 for the background check, so $279.95

The complete build without optics was $1691.40. I think it was a pretty good deal. A shop where I bought my S&W MP15 Sport has a DPMS on their wall for $2500 without optics. I can't imagine what the markup on it must be.

    The optics were $914.44 shipped

Thanks. Put 30 rnds through it the other day and it felt great. Almost no kick, felt like a paintball gun or a .22lr, and cycled each round without an issue.

Their website says the inner is 1.550" so I can't see it being more then 1.675" outer.

    Cool, thanks.
The Mega Arms MKM and the Aero Precision M4E1 are interesting to me for a possible future precision build. The M4E1's outer diameter is 2", so I was curious about this for comparison.
