I just went through this exercise and the whole 17TB worked out to be the better option. Barrel ~$299, taller sights ~$75. Get a deal on the pistol and you get all the parts. PSA has some $99 barrels but its not Glock.
My only problem with this, and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, is that I believe the OEM threaded Glock barrels are also hexagonally rifled. This means you can't shoot lead reloads through them. For that alone, it's worth the cost to me to go aftermarket.
There are some deals out there for barrels, you just have to find them.

I know I've read it before in an article, just can't find it.
I did find this however, which also states that the rifling is hexagonal. So, I'm pretty sure that they only come this way - just like normal factory barrels. This is the reason I bought a LW threaded long before I even had my first silencer on order. I knew I'd get one eventually, and I load lead.

I went with Lone Wolf...put about 1000 down range with zero issues. Here's mine;
I spent a couple years trying to get a factory threaded barrel for a Glock 19, this year I noticed they were offering guns with factory threaded barrels and tall sights so I just bought another gun instead.
