i'm very consistent. i can fail to operate not only my own, but other weapons just as easily.

gutshot john - on the same page finally! i agree re: NEED vs. 'better for me personally/optimized'. you're right - you don't NEED a lefty AR or controls to operate it (or else i'd have been at a loss all these years before ambi stuff came out).

Have you considered a brass catcher?

It'd be hell shooting offhand with a catcher on there...that's the only time a normal M4 wouldn't work for ya, because the rifle is across your body. You'd have scars all over your chest!
