List of Precision or Match 5.56 Ammo for Testing

I'm trying to take things to the next level in regard to my abilities. Therefore, I'd like to do an extensive test of different factory loads to see what this particular system likes best.

Can you help me compile a list of likely suspects so I know what to pick up and test through a 16" BCM middy LW BFH barrel (yes, I know that isn't the preferred barrel for a dedicated precision rig - but I want to see what this particular carbine prefers).

Just want to make sure I don't miss over someone.

    Thanks for your help.

CBC Magtec hangs right with any of them from reliable reports... and it's cheaper too.

For 100yd shooting, 60gr tap, and all the 50, and 55 gr vmax loads I've shot have produced very tight groups. However if your shooting further distances, I would opt for the heavier loads. Just stay away from superperformance. It did not perform very well in the accuracy department for me, personally. Hope this helps.

Some data points from my testing with a Magneto Speed V3. May help you in the future when you do your calculations with your optic. However I suggest you chrono as well as there are variances between barrels.

I will add SSA (Silver State Armory) 77gr MK262 clone to that list as well. My gun LOVES it! Given me consistent sub .5 moa groups in my RECCE.

In all the gun rag testing I've seen the 52 grain match loads seem to do very well. It would probably be worth adding a box to the test just to see. Maybe the Black Hills stuff.

Prvi Partizan (PPU) has a 69gr load I tried a box of on a whim. I'm not a precision shooter by any stretch of the imagination, but it seemed the ammo was performing above me and the trigger.

They also offer a 75gr load.
