MASP Industries - Anyone have any experience with these guys?

    Hey guys:

I'm looking to purchase a custom build from MASP Industries. So far I'd like to point out that they've had great customer service, and they've been working with me to pick out the parts that work best for my budget/anticipated purposes. I'm just a bit unsure because I can't find a lot of info on the company or their products.

I'm planning on using the following MASP parts:

MASP Industries Lower Parts Kit Minus Fire Control
    MASP Industries Mil-Spec Trigger Adjuster
MASP Industries Bolt Carrier Group Nickel Boron
MASP Industries Mid Length Gas Tube

I was wondering if anyone has used their parts, or had any experience buying from their shop. Any input is greatly appreciated, since I'm making a significant investment. Thanks in advance for your input.

I'd be will to bet he means the set screw tapped into the receiver which allows you to reduce take up.

Yeah - it's something like this - their website doesn't have a lot on it, but I spoke to the rep from MASP, and he confirmed that it's a screw, with a smaller screw inside of it:

So the trigger adjuster is not mil-spec, it is used to adjust mil-spec triggers. So it ought to read MASP Industries Adjuster for Mil-Spec Triggers.

I've seen it done a different way by drilling and tapping another hole for the set screw, still covered by grip. Works well for me, unsure about the grip screw way.

    guys:

I let masp build my rifle - had a few concerns that i wanted to run by you, to see if they're a big deal:

    1) the upper and lower do not seem to match up (spikes forged upper and lower, should not be blemished)

    2) the rear back up sight needs to be nearly all of the way to the left when zero'd (The MASP shop zero'd it, prior to shipping, and I was getting decent groups centered around where they have it zero'd ....in the second photo you have to look hard for the red dot

    3) there are tool marks or dings or something at the edge
