Federal .223 62gr Trophy Bonded Tip Coming

As far as I know this is the first time Federal will be selling a .223 TBBC load to the civilian market. Not only is it the bonded like the FBI load its also polymer tipped. Looks like 2015 is going to be the year of the tips.

"Federal Premium introduced a new .223 Rem load at the 2015 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, NV last month. The new loading is in the Vital-Shok line and uses the company’s Trophy Bonded Tip bullet.

Would be more interesting if it was loaded to 5.56 NATO pressures as opposed to .223.

It may be more accurate and effective loaded to .223 pressures.

The bullet on that box looks like a Barnes TSXT to me, the TBBC pulldowns I have are a SP flat base bullet.

The TBBC and TBT bullets are two different animals. The one on the box is the most representative of the Trophy Bonded Tip design.

Well sumbitch! Been a huge fan of the trophy bonded tip in .270 winny. Best bullet federal makes for tactical use.

I'm excited to see the real world BC's.

Why not in the Tactical line like the LE308TT2?
