Oooh. Cool. I wonder how this would perform in short barrels.

The LE Rep for ATK says that the 75gr Gold Dot is in the works but so far seems to be made of Unobtainium. He's been told they exist but hasn't gotten his samples yet.

I'm interested in laying my grimy paws on some...

Also the 64gr Gold Dot is being replaced with a 62gr Gold dot because that's the weight everyone is familiar with.

Im guessing no one bothered to show up at their booth or it was over shadowed by the craptastic performance of their Gold Dot G2. Anyway replacing the 64gr bullet sounds like a cost savings issue since the 62gr Fusion is made exactly the same way. Considering the Gold Dot .223 bullets are the most accurate bonded bullets out there Im pretty excited to see this load released. By bread and butter are 75gr match loads anyway so anything that has a closer POI is OK by me.

Some of this just arrived about two weeks ago. Expectation was 9-12 months out on a PD order for this, some 124 grain +P 9mms, and some 165 grain .40s. These happened to come in stock between the time I got a quote, got council approval, and then submitted the order.

Some was sent to Molon so he could work his magic - which deserves applause considering the small amount supplied. My main interest was zero similarities between it and other loads (MSR, 855, etc.) as I'm kind of a nut that way. I'll let him share the info when he sees fit however.

Personally and very informally I found it very accurate at 50 yards with irons using a 6720, 14.5 BCM SOCOM SBR, and on the city's 14.5" DPMS 1/7 M4 on a DRMO lower.
