I know DPMS is DPMS, but Im impressed with what I have read about their G2 rifles. Ive thought about appeasing my gun ADD and selling my AR10 for G2 just for the size and weight savings.

I was in FAST Co. and our DM's use the M14 EMR (sage chassis). The first thing that comes to my mind is its very heavy; aside from that I don't have any negatives. I do know cleaning it was a lengthy and detailed process and certainly not as quick or easy as an AR10 platform. They were very accurate and capable of 800yds with ease. They switched to the Sage chassis sometime in 2008/9, prior to that they were using a McMillan stock. The McMillan setup was significantly lighter and easier to tote around, however both setups aren't as maneuverable or versatile as an AR based platform.
