Anyone see they finally came out with a 7" kmr handguard on BCM's site?
Literally a week after I bought a SLR rifle works handguard. Looks like I'm going to buy the KMR once they are in stock.

I'm in the same boat as the OP, except I hadn't pulled the trigger on the SLR yet. I'm glad to see the 7" being released, and I'll be snagging one for my .300 blk build.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE my SLR handguard. But I want to keep all my rifles consistent between each one for simplicity's sake. I may end up just keeping the SLR aground unless someone wants to buy it.

That is an 8"
The kmr is going on a 7.5 with a griffin QD mount so I hope the blast shield fits. Otherwise I will swap the handguards. But I'd rather not
