I'm going to assemble and fire this one and send both my 8" 300 and 8" 5.56 to be re profiled since I ended up getting the ballistic advantage barrels

The 8" will fit a can/blast shield as long as they don't extend past the threads of the barrel. A 7.5 would of been close and most likely wouldn't seal all the way

I have one and it has functioned with all uppers I tried it with.

Seeing that 8.25" in the 7" KMR makes me think that the 8" Seekins won't fit in there......

That 8.25" from jerrysimons looked tight enough to make me question if the aforementioned combo would work.

My barrel will be here this week, it's an 8". I will be running a griffin blast shield with it so I will let you know
