    Colt LE6920 first failures

Hey all I went shooting again today, prior to today I had put around 300 rounds through my colt. Today we shot a few hundred more rounds and had two failures. Now this concerns me being its a colt but at the same time I did shoot some ballistol down the BCG not too long ago and I didn't really wipe it down too much before shooting today. I always thought over lubed BCGs won't cause jams but rather just splash oil all over when you shoot? What do you guys think?

This. And an estimate of ambient temperature.

    Also, h buffer or H2?

Mags were PMAGs. The ammo was federal 55 grain and I lube it with ballistol CLP.

After the first malf did you isolate that mag and take it out of rotation? And I keep my rifle pretty wet. Havent had a problem with splash (im not drowning the thing).

I did, it was a ten round mag. The second FTF was with my 30 rounder both PMAGs.

When you say FTF was the BCG closing on an empty chamber or was a live round getting hung up somewhere?

The live round was getting close somewhere. The BCG would be closed and at the pull of the trigger it wouldn't fire. I'd have to pull the charging handle to expel the round before firing again. Happened twice about halfway through each mag.
