I have the brig tac. It apparently doesn't have hand fitting. They are made by Beretta, shipped to WC, and then shipped to FFLs. Unless you order the action job from Wilson (which I did), it gets inspected at Wilson (they had some without D springs way early on) but otherwise no work is done.
I love mine. I felt like I "needed" a conventional double action/single action gun. The smoothness of the action (mine is one of the first 150) is amazing. It shoots a ragged hole at 10 yards, sub 2.5 at 25 and I can ring steel on 2/3 targets at 100. The recoil is really soft. Almost like a squib. Really super gun. Mine is in my man purse with a 18 round mag in it and a 20 round mag in the pouch.
There was some griping from people who bought the gun when it was a very limited run. The demand led to an expanded run, making it less rare and some folks got their noses out of joint. I bought it to use as a weapon, not as an investment, so that works for me.
I am working on the double action to single action transition, and its going pretty well.
Given the cost difference, I'd get the brig tac if its available in your local market.

If a large number of people are willing to kill you for saying something, then it probably really needs to be said. .
