PICs Of My First 6.8 SPC Build

I have a bunch of ARs now in all kinds of configurations but they are all chambered in 5.56 so I thought it was time to build a 6.8 SPC. I plan on using this one for Tactical Rifle Matches that would have stages from CQB out to 400 yards. This thing is a real tack driver and the recoil with the Enidine Hydraulic Buffer is much less then I thought a 6.8 would be. It feels pretty much like my 5.56s. The only thing I have left to do is swap out the trigger for a Timney "drop-in" model. Here is what's inside:

how do you like the handguard

The 12" D&L Handguard is great. It used to be on my 11.5" suppressed 5.56 upper. It gave the upper that MP5SD look and ran pretty cool because of the gigantic cooling holes. I sold that barrel when I SBRd my XCR so I had the D&L handguard and a DPMS upper and no where to go. I figured I might as well spring for a lower and build the 6.8 for something a little different. I forgot that I "had" to buy everything else including the optics to finish the project. Oh well, it's only money.
