    1/2x28 9mm muzzle device

What options do I have besides YHM, Lantac's new one, and Spikes who has had my order pending for 2 weeks?
I just need a flash hider / break for the above thread pitch.

    Thanks

I'm currently using an A1 flash hider that's been bored out. IIRC, I got it from Numrich some years ago.

I went with bored out A1's also. Brought a few to my smith and he bored them out on the lathe to 3/8" in just a few minutes. Charged me $20 to do 4.

I needed one to extend my barrel outside the handguard when not using the can. I found one on Ebay. They seem to have a lot that are drilled straight through.

its hard to beat an A1 or A2. I like the A2 a lot. they might not look cool but they are pretty darn effective. some of the brakes/comp/hiders are just way to darn big and heavy to justify them....in my opinion. Here is an interesting article, take it for what its worth to you.

I went with a YHM thread protector. I didn't really see a need for a flash hider. Kinda like the look.

    Slight derail...

I wish this company was still in business. Well built and cost effective lights. Still sporting a couple of them.

So there is really no effective comps / brakes for the 9mm carbine? How about PSA, YHM, Guntec. (These three seem affordable.)

The potential effectiveness of any brake depends on the weight of powder gasses available to redirect.

4 grains of pistol powder doesn't give you a lot to work with.
