    I'll probably get blasted by a few here for this, but I used froglube on my Scorpion Carry, and ran it through a combative pistol course. It ran flawlessly through the entire 750 rds.

    Carbon frames are the preferred choice but there are way more stainless framed/slide 1911's running around these days than carbon steel 1911's.

    I talked to sig today issue was fixed and then gun re coated. Should have a tracking number tomorrow for it to get sent back to me. I'll let you all know how it is when I get it back and if I have any more issues with it.
