Does anyone have any verifiable balistic data on this round. I've conducted several searches and came up empty.
On a couple ot threads, one individual stated that this was a 3rd rate barrier round because it gave poor performance after going through windshields.
Another stated that this round was equal to the Federal LE 223T3 until it ran into glass. None of them gave any references to their statements.
My understanding is that Hornady develepod this round specificaly to penetrate steel doors and deliver terminal performance on the opposite side, to be used for nuclear power plant security.
I would appreciate any information on this round. I'm looking for a good barrier round and I'm not concerned with windshields.
UPDATE: WWW.hornady.com now has an 80+ page PDF on ballistics test for 5.56, 6.8 etc.
