I have found this long range shooting software to be VERY helpful. Spent the money on the full version and it runs fine on my Mac. It's lacking a bit on the user interface side of things, but all the information is there.
Long Range Shooting Simulation
You get to use different reticles, calibers, and scope types (fixed/variable and FFP/SFP). There are different scenarios as well, including moving targets, VLR (?) stages, timed shots, and partially concealed targets, all of which have to be ranged with the reticle.
