Obviously the SCS is too long to fit. However, with access to a machinist capable of cutting the guide rod to length and re-threading for the screw, can anyone see a reason this wouldn't work? Maybe you would have to use the normal 5.56 version to get a decent length of travel for the system, or perhaps cut the buffer weights of the 9mm to function in the shorter tube?

I know this is going to be expensive. I don't care. I want the best.
