Hello, is there anyway to mount a mini scout light directly to the 2 o'clock position on a ris ii rail? I've seen it done before but I can find any info on how it was done. It's not an offset mount but some kind of backer plate.

Pretty sure the Haley Dropping mount will do exactly what you are asking for.

At $133 I would email them and ask if they know before dropping the money. I was interested in their IFL Scout Mount/Body at one time and they were very good about answering my questions. The IFL actually may get the light basically where you want it too as it appears to basically bury the light body between the rails.
