Chrome or non-chrome BCG for 5.45x39 build?

Going to get a 5.45x39 upper built and was wondering if I should even bother with the chrome bolt and carrier - all the ammo I will use will be corrosive, but I assume if I clean meticulously after every session, the non-chromed bolt and carrier should serve me well, eh?

Hell, for the cost of the chromed bolt and carrier group, I could buy TWO non-chromed bolt and carrier groups.

I have noticed that the S&W Talo arms 5.45 upper (whenever the hell IT comes out) will have chrome BCG.

Personally, if I were going to run corrosive ammo in a direct gas system that let the gas wash around the bolt like an AR does, hell yes I'd want it hard chromed.

Don't you AR guys go by up all my cheap 5.45mm now!

Templar, once they realize it's corrosive AND steel core and have to start replacing bullet traps, maybe they'll slow down.

ALL AR bolt carriers should be chrome, IMHO. I have a DPMS one in my new Noveske 12.5" SBR and cleaned it up with a paper towel.

May as well buy the best bolt assembly you can afford.
