I think there's more gas because they didn't vent the blast baffle.

Could be. If the Griffin Recce is as good as it's made out to be I could also just get a 2nd one of those and standardize the muzzle devices. I did want at least one "military spec" suppressor in 5.56 though.

As I have SF MB's on all and a warden I wanted to be able to swap all of this stuff out so I didn't even consider anything but surefire...but here are definitely a lot of great options out there!

I was told within the next 30 days as well (hopefully). They were super to deal with. I tied him up for 20 min or so discussing pistol cans since the griffin revolution 45 was not an option. I've got a gem tech 9 coming instead.

He did tell me if have the option to cancel if I didn't make the July deadline before the new crap goes into effect.

Took my 556-RC2 out yesterday for the first time. Rifle was a LMT MRP 10.5" on top of a KAS IWS SR-15 lower. Muzzle device was a Warcomp. Ammo was a mixture of Lake City M193 and Hornady 75 grain TAP SBR.

No failures. Bolt locked back on empty mag every time. There was a very slight GTF. Sound suppression was similar to every other 556 can that I own - slight ring to my ears after a string of 3 rounds with the supersonic crack being the most noticeable when not using ear pro. So, definitely not "hearing safe" but not really different than my KAC cans. No appreciable zero shift at 50 yards. Lock-up felt no different than the RC's that I've shot.

The Hornady TAP SBR was noticibly softer and possibly a little quieter.

I'll post pics in a couple of days when work settles down.

I also took a SOCOM 300SPS which I will review in that thread.

I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.

I called, paid, submitted all trust paperwork/info and I'm praying they come in before July!
    Your can ever come in?
Like pictures of guns, dogs, and trucks? Me too. Let's be friends, or not, whatever you want to do. Just an option

Yup came in and beat the deadline but unfortunately it got caught up in the flood of submissions...it's sitting at the LGS...been sitting there for a while now waiting on all of the paperwork. Last I checked they were anticipating late Feb - early March so hopefully I get the call any day now!
