I picked up the Faxon 11.5 and the SA gas block. with an H2 buffer and full mass carrier I couldn't get it to run 100% This rifle will be a suppressor host and will be used in competition. I swapped out the H2 for a JP SC spring with the lightest spring and a JP Low Mass BCG. I have only shot 100 rounds or so because I was getting ready for a match but it ran those rounds 100%

Considering picking up one of these 11.5s and a Faxon M16 BCG for a build. Any idea when these barrels will be back in stock?

Are the barrels dimpled for a set screw gas block? If so what is the spacing? Was looking at the SLR gas blocks and they have .400 or .450 spacing.

My barrel was not dimpled. Odin Works makes a great gas block that doesn't lock up. I bought mine here http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Faxo...5a58m11ngq.htm

    They should be in-stock now.

Will an A2 FSB or PRI folding front sight fit this?

They will not fit a 11.5" mid. Not enough space for the FSB.

What about a MicroMOA Govnah? What is the exact length from gas block shoulder to muzzle threads?

Sounds like a good reason for a mid 12.5" TBH. Gas can also be regulated with BCGs...

Journal is ~1.65". The Govnah does not come in .625 diameter.

@Faxon, do you know of any 2-position gas block that does come in a .625" size?
