Here's a great write up by John Bauer of my recipe that will change your freakin' life. OK, tad exaggeration, but life sucks way less if you drink some Bomb Proof Coffee every day, and it's good for you to boot. Just sayin' ...

I've been doing the the coconut oil in the coffee for over a year, and taking creatine separately with the rest of my workout BCAAs. I'm liking this idea. Subscribing. Thanks Will!

    Edited...

Just tried it. Yummy! Going to get the wife on it too.

    Thanks for the intel Will!!!
You followed the entire recipe? Good deal. I have bumped all doses to approx level T spoon, so 5-6g of all key ingredients.

I recently read an article about the health benefits of coffee on T Nation. Coffee has over 1000 biologically active compounds. The talked about one in particular a polyphenol named chlorogenic acid, or CGA. According to the article the brands of coffee with the highest levels of CGA are Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds. Coffees with the highest levels of CGA are grown near the equator and at higher elevations. It is interesting to see all of the health benefits of coffee.

Specific to CGA, Life Extension has a coffee made specifically to increase CGA levels:

Good minds think alike. I bumped up the levels a bit also, but not that much. Perhaps I will.

Im lazy... Is it bad to use top quality creatine capsules and top quality tyrosine tablets and just downing those with the first sip of the coffee??? Its easier and not as messy this way. The less opportunity for a clean up, the better.

<--- DO NOT ever let that bag of cocoa powder tip over... Ever. It makes a big mess. It's like dust and gets everywhere. Trust me...

That's good to know. I always try to get my coffee as freshly roasted and ground as possible. But I was try to point out that if anyone is unable or not interested in that there is some decent choices available at the grocery store.

Hmmm, I suppose the effect should be the same, but no doubt rate of absorption and such will be superior in the mixture, also, you gonna have to take a handful of creatine caps and a handful of tyrosine caps to reach rec doses, and that's a bigger PITA than doing the the my way (also known that right way.. ) and will waste $ as powders are always far more cost effective.

When I recommend a thing, there's a lot going on underneath the hood that may or may not be readily apparent.

Perfect. I'm still going to have to cheat half of the month when I am on the road. Traveling every day including OCONUS, it's not practical to carry a mix of powders in my bag. It's enough just carrying protein powder. At least it looks and smells like protein powder. I don't want some foreign customs agent trying to figure out what creatine powder is...

So, home it's your recipe... On the road, I'm going to have to keep tablets and capsules handy.

Thanks for all of your informational posts.
